There are so many reasons why we need to uninstall VScode. Sometimes, only uninstall the vscode from the control panel. But that's not all. We have to delete the vscode and code folder also. 

In this tutorial, I will explain how to uninstall vscode on windows. 

Ok let's start with how to completely uninstall visual studio code with extensions and settings in windows 11 

Step 1 : in the windows search bar Type "Control Panel" and Select "Microsoft Visual                          Studio Code Insiders (User)" then click on uninstall.

Step 2 : Uninstall message appeared and click on ok for confirmation 

Step 3 : After uninstall, vs code uninstall pop-up box open. click on ok.

Step 4 : Now go to This PC. Here you can see all the partitions of your storage drive that you created before. Mine is only 3 Partitions. 

Step 5 : Click on your windows installation drive. By default is C drive. Mine is windows 11 (C). Double Click on it. Then Double Click on Users folder.

Step 6 : Then Double Click on your This PC's user name folder. Mine is Mashnun

Step 7 : Now here is the most important part you must follow. Click on View drop-down menu. Then hober mouse on Show and tick mark bellow two items. Now you can see the .vscode-insiders folder (here all extensions and Jason files are located) and AppData folder

Step 8 : Now Shift+delete both  .vscode-insiders folder (here all extensions and Jason files are located) 

Step 9 : Now go to AppData folder then go to the Roaming folder. Here you will see Code-Insiders folders. Shift+Delete it. 

Welcome you have completely uninstalled visual studio code with extensions and settings in windows 11
