First,

> You have to go to vscode download page https://code.visualstudio.com/

 

> click on the down arrow icon and choose your operating system & version (64bit/86bit)

> After downloading, click on it and check the I accept the agreement and click on next

> Then click on next again.

> Click on next again

> By default checkmark is checked and if you want to create a desktop icon then you have to check mark

> Then click on next and then install button

> Finally it finished the setup

And you will be able to see the welcome screen "Get Started"

For this, you have to follow the settings below: 

Step 1: Go to your computer ( Click on the windows icon/home icon then click on my computer)

Step 2 : Click on Organize button then click on Folder and search options

Step 3: Now This is the most important setting for uninstalling completely vs code from your computer. Click on View Tab and then click on show hidden files, folders, or drives. 

Step 4: Then Apply and OK

Step 5: Now first uninstall vs code from the control panel. ( Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features ) Select Microsoft Visual Studio Code (User) and then uninstall and from new pop up box click on yes. Your uninstalling process is running after that click on OK

Step 6: Now go to your windows installation drive mine is the local disk (c). Click on Users folder. you will see two folders. 1st is yours ( mine is Apon Mollic) and others is Public. 

Step 7: Click on the names that you gave during install your operating system  ( mine is Apon Mollic). Here you can see the .vscode folder. Delete it. And also see AppData folder that is hidden.

Step 8: Go to AppData folder. Then go to the Roaming folder. 

Step 9: Here you see the Code folder. Delete it.

Step 10: Welcome you have successfully completely uninstalled visual studio code with extensions and settings in windows 7
